A truly fantastic experience from start to finish. The course was well structured, practical and inspiring, making organic vegetable growing feel not only achievable but genuinely exciting and enjoyable. Dan’s depth of knowledge and passion for organic growing really shine through. He explains everything so clearly and generously shares years of hands‑on experience, covering everything from soil health and crop planning to sowing, feeding and pest management. Sharon’s warmth and excellent organisation create a very welcoming and relaxed learning environment and together they make the day both highly informative and great fun.
What I particularly appreciated was the strong focus on working with nature - healthy soil, biodiversity and sustainable practices - combined with practical, down‑to‑earth advice that can be applied immediately at home. The day was also made even more enjoyable with delicious homemade soup provided for lunch, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch.I left the course feeling motivated and confident and I have already implemented the learnings in my polytunnel. All of my raised beds are now fully prepared and ready for growing organic vegetables, which really shows just how practical and empowering this course is.
I would highly recommend Garden County Organics to anyone interested in growing their own food organically, regardless of experience level.
